May we walk in the sunshine of Your own love. As we wait upon You, may You renew our strength so that we may be able to run without being weary, and to walk without being faint, on the week-days which lie before us. We ask that You will bless us in our private and public worship on this holy Sunday.

Dear Lord, As I begin this Sunday morning, I come before you, seeking renewal in my mind, body, and spirit. I ask that you fill me with your peace and mercy and help me to let go of any burdens that are weighing me down.

A Simple Prayer of Gratitude

Thank you, Lord, for the blessings you have bestowed on my life. You have provided me with more than I could ever have imagined. You have surrounded me with people who always look out for me. You have given me family and friends who bless me every day with kind words and actions.

Lord, thank You for this day. I ask that You would guide my path today and, more specifically, my thoughts, words and actions. Please be with me throughout the day and help me navigate whatever comes my way. Most importantly, help me to reflect and live out my life in a way that is honoring to You.

As we begin this holy Sunday, our Father, may You give us indeed a Sunday blessing. On this day which reminds us of our Savior's rising from the grave, may we rise anew to a holier, truer, and heavenlier life. May we walk in the sunshine of Your own love.

Lord Jesus, thank you that we are able to be here today, gathered together to worship you. We thank you for your gift of the Holy Spirit. Please fill us with your Spirit and may we be full of grace, joy, and peace, because of your presence within us. May your Spirit's power produce fruit within our lives.

One of the best ways to keep the Sabbath day holy is to devote time to worshipping God. During the other six days of the week, it's easy to get caught up in all of our responsibilities. On Sunday, you can take time to turn your thoughts and hearts to God. We can attend church services.

Almighty God, We thank you for the gift of your Holy Word. May it be a lantern to our feet, A light to our paths, and a strength to our lives. Take us and use us to love and serve all people in the power of the Holy Spirit, and in the name of your Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Oh Lord, “my flesh and my heart may fail, but you are the strength of my heart and my portion forever (Ps. 73:26).” Please give me the strength to block out the distractions of this world, listen for your voice, and walk faithfully with you all the days of my life.

My dear God, I thank you for this day. I ask not to know where I am going. But only to know and feel in the depths of my heart and soul that you are with me, that You are guiding me, that I am safe in the protection of your loving care. In Jesus' name, I offer myself to you.
