Cider Donuts

Though they don’t actually grow on trees, Chiles Family Orchards apple cider donuts are prepared fresh daily in our bakeries. During peach season, keep an eye out for peach cider donuts!

Ingredients Used

donut flour, consisting of enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, ferrous sulfate, thiamine, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), sugar, soybean oil, soy flour, leavening (sodium bicarbonate), egg yolks, nonfat milk, wheat starch, salt, soy lecithin, dextrose, artificial flavor, whey, carboxymethylcellulose, beta carotene (color); apple cider; sugar; cinnamon

Cider donuts freezing and reheating instructions

Easily freeze and reheat our apple cider donuts to enjoy a taste of the orchards whenever the craving strikes.

Freezing: Place donuts on a baking tray and put in the freezer for 3-5 hours or until frozen. Without letting them thaw, place in an airtight container or freezing bag. Keep up to 3 months.

Thawing: Leave at room temperature, uncovered, for at least 30 minutes. Once thawed, they can be heated by placing in the microwave for 5-10 seconds or in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees.

The best thing of the day was by far the apple cider donuts. I consider myself a donut connoisseur and these donuts were melt in your mouth delicious!

Pies

With flaky, buttery crust and homegrown fruit, our delicious pies are a family favorite. Depending on the season, our bakers keep your pie plate full with seasonal peach, cherry, apple, and pumpkin pies.

Ingredients Used

In addition to fresh fruit, our pies are made with: enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), vegetable oil (palm, soybean and/or cottonseed oils), sugar, water. Contains 2% or less of each of the following: modified corn starch, high fructose corn syrup, salt, natural and artificial flavor, citric acid, soy flour.

Pie freezing and reheating instructions

Freezing: Place unwrapped pie in the freezer for 1-2 hours. This prevents moisture forming as it freezes. After pre-freezing, wrap generously with plastic wrap and keep in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Re-heating: Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Unwrap pie and leave at room temperature for about 15 minutes. Cover pie with aluminum foil and bake for 20-30 minutes or until filling is warmed to your taste.
