Bentleys restaurant has been open since 1976. The interior décor is inspired by memorabilia and photos reflecting the history of Woodstock, Vermont. Woodstock Farmers Market is a year-round choice and local favorite, selling its own maple syrup, prepared foods, fruits, vegetables, and beer.
The Rockefeller Mansion, also known as the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, is a wonderful place to tour. Along with viewing the mansion, you can walk the nearby trails, the Mount Tom Forest, and the Pogue, a 14-acre pond.
Some of the outdoor activities available in Woodstock are the Suicide 6 Ski Area, Wassail Weekend, and Torchlight Snowshoe. Suicide 6 Ski Area provides skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, fly-fishing, and more. Wassail Weekend kicks off the Christmas season. It is when the City of Woodstock, Billings Farm, and the historic homes are decorated and filled with sleigh bells and blinking lights taking you back to the 1800s. Torchlight Snowshoe is a family-friendly event at Billings Farm. As the evening begins you can snowshoe or walk across a trail marked by lighted torches. You can also learn about the history of the different wildlife and the land in general from the National Park rangers. As the evening winds down, you can drink hot chocolate and snack by the cozy campfire listening to Vermont folk tales.

Things to Do
When you live in Woodstock, Vermont, you have plenty of access to snowmobile trails, breath-taking scenic drives, and fun outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, kayaking, boating, and skiing. Woodstock also has summer concerts to look forward to, known as the Summer Concert Series.
The Woodstock Inn and Spa are one of the newest spas in the New England area. The spa offers ten different treatment rooms, a spa boutique, native flora, ultimate relaxation, and plenty of natural light.
The Woodstock Country Club is the oldest public golf course in Vermont, dating back to 1895. It was named a top-100 golf resort by Golf Magazine and features 18 holes and stunning views of the Kedron Valley. Woodstock Country Club is in the Woodstock Inn and Resort, a classically lush resort. It has four restaurants, each with a menu curated by the Master Gardener to utilize seasonal ingredients from their garden. They also have a Forbes 4-Star rated spa.
Schools
Not only is Woodstock a historic city, but its schools are historic as well, with some dating as far back as 1854. The Windsor Central Supervisory Union serves the students of the Woodstock community.
